I absolutely loved this story. The way each chapter is written from a different character’s point of view made falling in love with these people so easy. Stockett painted such an amazing picture I could absolutely feel the sweltering summer heat and then that first cool blast of relief from the gaudy window air conditioner.

I sometimes get bored or dread trudging through when so many details are described in stories if the characters really have no depth to them but I couldn’t get enough of this book. Even the seemingly unimportant details…they just made me love this story more. I never wanted it to end.

I can’t wait for the movie and I’m sure it won’t be too long before I’m reading this book again.

The Garmin Portable Friction Mount is just what I needed. My only problem is that I ordered it in Frustration Free packaging but received it in regular packaging. So it took me extra minutes and a lot of frustration trying to open the package before I could use it. The other product I ordered at the same time did come in frustration free packaging, which I would recommend for anyone who hates having to risk getting cut up by sharp edges of that plastic most products are sealed in.

I have used my Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer every day for a month and it has changed the way I walk. My first day I did 12,175 steps and by my 30th day I was walking over 28,009 steps. It is so easy to wear and keep track of your walking. I’ve even dropped it a few times and it is so well made it wasn’t damaged in any way. I know several other people who love their’s.

I had some reservations about buying this machine because some people complained about leaking, etc. I read enough positive reviews and thought the complainers had user error going on.

I got it today, my eight year old son assembled it (it was that easy) and I cleaned most of our downstairs carpets this evening. Wow! I think of myself as a good housekeeper and it is so painful to see how dark the dirty water is. No leaking!

This replaces my ten year old Dirt Devil that I was always satisfied with. I think this Hoover got the carpets cleaner than they ever have been. The price to purchase it is less than having the professionals come in.

I got my Wii for Christmas, and it’s awesome!

However, when you start trying to get stuff for it, you think you have it all and then you find out you need more stuff.

For instance, you can play Gamecube games on a Wii console, but no one ever says you need a Gamecube memory card to play them as well.

Or, Wii fit, which is a steal at $19.99, but requires a $96.00 balance board to play.

Or, you don’t have a wireless router, or wireless service, and the Wii only has Wi-Fi capability unless you know that there is an adapter that can make it able to be physically wired to the internet. Which you will never find out about that unless you think of it. Then when you do think of it, there is a question of the type of Ethernet cable you need and how long the cable needs to be. (Which the cable type is category 5.)

Basically, I love my Wii system, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but if you’re going to buy one, realize that it’s not just a console and couple games you’re buying. You have to buy a lot more than you think. There’s additional wii-motes, nunchucks, boards, plugs, adapters, and lots more that you may not think you need, but are vital to the running of the gaming programs on the Wii.

So to people new to the Wii gaming system, be sure to do your research and find out whether or not you are willing to make the various and costly investments.

Maybe if you have a gigantic screen you would be able to see the difference between this cable and one costing 10 times as much – I can’t. Great price, works fine. What else can I ask?

I bought it about 3 years ago, and it’s still kicking. Love to store all my runs on the Garmin Connect web site.( the maps are cool)I used it in all seasons with no worries. I just came back from a hike in cold, wet weather. still working . got my money worth and then some.
