I love the functions, the readability, the portability and the design.

However, Amazon should feel ashamed for putting such a phenomenally fragile device out into the public sphere.

Two days ago I was reading my kindle in my living room and placed the device on my thigh while answering a phone call. My Kindle slipped off my leg and landed flush with the floor. The fall was ~2 feet. When I picked it up and attempted to turn the page I noted that half of the screen was blank. My Kindle is shot. Gone, Worthless.

Did I mentioned that it dropped less than 2 feet onto a CARPET FLOOR? A padded, carpeted floor. Yes folks, it’s true.

Seeing as Amazon has no intention of providing me anything approaching a fair and equitable repair fee for my loss, I can only hope that other disappointed customers will get together and file a legal challenge to Amazon for their misleading videos showing Kindle’s robustness.

It is a good idea poorly executed and terribly engineered.

I will not be purchasing another and plan to vent in every venue I can on just what a piece of junk this thing is. One need only Google search terms for ‘fragile kindle’ to see just how many other customers have gone through what I experienced a few days ago.

Until Amazon makes appropriate engineering changes this item is a definite ___DO NOT BUY___

3X TELEPHOTO LENS FOR

Originally I had a problem with it, in that my Panasonic Lumix ZS3 would complain that I couldn’t record more than 30 seconds of AVCHD Lite video due to the speed of the card. Turns out that I just had to reformat the card, since I probably had deleted some files from the card manually (via Windows Explorer) without properly ejecting the drive afterward. Seems to work fine now, and a great price!

Curel Life s Stages

I bought the Wii to get in shape and do something physical. Living in colder weather where it snows and is very cold outside makes it difficult to get in daily walking. I have found the Wii gives me plenty of exercise and it is fun! I would recommend a Wii to everyone. In fact, I encouraged my sister to purchase a Wii and now we meet once a week to do our yoga together. Wii is a system that is easy to put together and easy to use. No, it does not have all the special graphics that today’s computer games have, but it is perfect for any age that just wants to move. When I can’t go outside I can run, walk, bowl, play games, and keep busy all day in my house.
I Spy Little Hearts

Artemis Fowl is a genius. He’s also a criminal master mind. He’s also twelve. When faced with the loss of his family’s fortune, he does what anyone would do. He kidnaps a fairy commando and holds her for ransom.

This is a great book for readers of all ages. While entertaining for most older elemtary school kids, the snappy dialog and and action packed plot twists make it a great read for adults too.

We have a month-old baby boy. He feeds about every three hours. This requires a certain amount of bottles, nipples, etc, etc. Then there’s the stuff associated with my wife’s Modelo Pump. Of course, all of these things have to be washed, dried and sterilized. We have quite a production line going and it tends to overwhelm the kitchen double-sink area, which is still being used for it’s normal duties.

My wife picked up the Munchkin Bottle Cleaning/Drying Rack and it has proven to be quite useful. It takes up only a small amount of counter space. We use only lightweight plastic Avent and Modelo bottles, and they’ve presented no problems. Plus it holds all sorts of other stuff, just as shown in the illustration. It’s a very useful rack and is inexpensive. It has greatly improved our little production line.

Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack

I absolutely love this watch. I was a little nervous about buying it after reading some bad reviews but I am soooo glad I bought it. It is true, it takes some time to acquire the satellite signal but I have not experienced a drop in the signal.
The GPS is very accurate. I mapped my route before running and when the watch said I was done… I was done! You can set it to let you know when you reach certain distances. I have mine beep every mile and it helps my runs along. Also, I love breakdown it does, on the computer and the actual watch. Based on your settings it let’s you know what your pace was for each interval, your average heart rate, and your max heart rate. Another plus is that it is very easy to load my runs from my Forerunner 305 to my [...] profile. And based on the information you can plot different parts of your runs against each other.

I must say I just LOVE this watch and you should definitely get one!!!
Pink Floyd Empty Spaces

I found no point in going beyond the first sentence: “My mother drove me to the airport with the windows rolled down.” The modifier “with the windows rolled down,” as all modifiers should, should be positioned next to what it is modifying. Here it is modifying “airport.” How does this airport have its windows rolled down? Why? Is an airport with retractable windows really meant, or is Meyer just a really bad writer? Apparently the latter. Ms. Meyer should have paid attention in her high school composition classes, for she apparently learned very little in them. If she cannot even get the crucial opening sentence right, one abandons all hope for the others in the middle of this “book.”
Casio General Men s

I loved this book! So well written. It has everything you want in a book! Don’t miss this one.
MED LUXURY MICRO SUEDE

I quite enjoyed this one. Normally I am not a big fan of constant point-of-view switches, but these are done smoothly and sensibly; not disjointing at all. The characters are great fun to follow along, and the story had me wanting to jump right back in to see what happened next.

I get that these are popular now, though not sure why. But they’re cute and look like they do in the pic in real life. I bought these to go in my DD’s easter basket – no one she knows trades these so they have just been for her personal use and fun. For they price they were worth it to put in some easter eggs!
