This friction mount was more stable than I anticipated. I was afraid it would slide across the dashboard, but it stayed steady at all times. The one thing I don’t like is that if you try to tilt the GPS unit up, it pops out of the ball mount too easily. I guess this is good for removing, but not when you are trying to adjust the angle. Overall it was a very good deal.
