I bought the Kindle 2. One of the many things I really like about it is the option to buy a sample before buying a book. This way you can try out new writers for free. From the sample you can easily buy the book. But I would like to suggest a small improvement on this function.

When I select “Buy this book” from my sample, I can’t see the price. I need to buy it first, only then I see the price. I do however get the option to undo the purchase, which I haven’t testet yet. I would like to have the option to first see the book’s website before buying it. I have downloaded so many samples that I can’t remember the price.

When I buy the book, it becomes a separate file on my kindle that is stored in the main storage area, instead of the collection that my sample is stored in. I have to check in my sample on what location I finished reading and then in the new book go to that location. I wonder if some is this could be automated when buying the book:
- Check whether there is a sample of this book on the device.
- Mark the reading location in the new book = the location in the sample.
- Put the new book in the same collection as the sample.
- Delete the sample.

Tools General 16 81001 today

The screw for the battery compartment does not seem to be an isolated problem. The screw for the battery cover is an extremely small Phillips head. There is a flat piece of metal provided with a tab on each end. This supposed to be the screwdriver. Ordinarily this might work. But in this case the tab is too long to fit in the cross-slot. Therefore the screw cannot be removed so the battery can be inserted. I have jewelers screwdrivers but doubt they would work because the cross-slots are so small they appear nearly round. Makes it difficult to screw in or out.
It’s a shame because the product looks and feels good. But with no battery it is no better than a paper weight, in fact not that good. It’s not heavy enough to hold paper down.
There are MANY other ways to secure a battery compartment. Too bad they didn’t choose one of them. I have sent this thing back to Amazon. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

We are trying to exercise more so we thought a Pedometer would help us know how we are doing. After considerable research, I purchased two of these Omron units. They count well in my pocket or clipped to my exercise pants. It doesn’t seem to stay on a belt well, but stays on my exercise pants or shorts very well. I have counted my steps and compared the count to the Omron’s and it’s count has been right on. On some “sit-down” equipment I clip it on a pants leg since it doesn’t count well sitting down. It is a nice product for a good price. I have dropped it several times and I thought, Oh-oh, I’ll need to order a new one, but it still works fine.

I bought two of these, first two times using them, everything stuck to them. In both cases I was making cookies (with a lot of butter). I didn’t add any additional spray/lube/butter to the mat, because I thought that was the point of using them. Theoretically cleanable in a dishwasher, but they’re so floppy and large that it’s impractical. I left them soak in the sink and the dough did come right off after a few minutes of soaking. But… how is this better than a regular cookie sheet? I can put that in the dishwasher. A cooking salesperson today told me she had the silpat (or similar) and they worked great. I told her mine stuck and she said, “Oh, you must have the Kitchenaid ones.”

F Optimus 16 1670S must go on

This is the best pedometer I’ve ever owned. Most I have abandoned because they’re too complicated to program. This one is a breeze to set up and it’s extremely accurate when tested against a known distance as on a track. Best of all, it really does work just as well when carried in a pants pocket as it does when clipped on a belt. I also own an Omron blood pressure monitor which I love. This company makes quality products.

Finally, I couldn’t imagine how 57 people out of the thousands who have reviewed the product could possibly give it only one star, so I reviewed their comments. Perhaps 5 or 6 actually got a defective pedometer — not a bad percentage of any product. As far as the rest of them go, well…I’ll try to be nice and just say it takes all kinds of people to make up our world. It really helps to read the simple, brief instructions before using the device.

Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1)
I found this book interesting. Contrary to the teachings of The Holy Bible, the author claims that satan is a “myth,” that Jesus was only a great person (no mention of “Savior”), and seemed to imply that the “things written down 2000 years ago” are open to debate. My questions is this: If all these things written 2000 years ago about God and Jesus were true, WHY would God, in “speaking with Mr. Neale Donald Walsch (as he claims)”, suddenly reverse his previous statements about satan, the validity of the Bible, and the absolute sovereignty of Christ?
I am a skeptic, and I like to think I have an open mind. This book was recommended to me by a colleague. However, I could not help but thinking that Mr. Walsch definitely has a “profit motive” in his writings. “If the item sells, continue to write.” Never mind it may be misinformation. Mr. Walsh, I hope you get this “God thing” right- your eternity may depend on it.
Please reference “Evidence that Demands a Verdict,” by Josh McDowell. A professed athiest that became a Christian because of his research. Go figure.

Take away 16 ACDelco PT1401 Female

I grew up as a privileged white in Apartheid South Africa so this book resonated the beliefs of people with white skin over centuries in my country. The reviews abound, it didn’t happen like that, dialect not authentic are missing the crucial message of the book. The saddest and greatest sin was depriving other humans of dignity because of the color of their skin – not always in big ways but in small tiny ones that, like insiduous cancer, crumbled away at their souls, their very beings. Take a bow Ms Stockett “The Help” is a courageous book.
