I picked up this book because I liked the cover. I was not disaappointed with the inside info, either. Very sound, very practical. And I can eat out in fast food restaurants if I chose the right meals. I am planning on following her diet plan..but have included one tablespoon of flax in my diet and some evening primrose oil. My hair and skin definitely look better. Time will tell if my weight actually starts to come off – but I am encouraged because I have been doing what I thought was right and having no results.

From canoeing with family members, to swordfighting with friends, to cow-racing with acquaintances, to watching old episodes of Fraggle Rock, wii will have you laughing, rowing, slashing, lassoing (a la Indy!), and yes, now watching for as long as you can stand it! We’ve had our wii about six months, and it just got better! We just started our Netflix subscription a few weeks ago, and we love that too! With a Netflix subscription that includes the ability to stream, if you’ve got an internet connection to your house, you can watch any one of TONS of movies and TV shows (stuff you can’t get on OnDemand!) My beau was especially excited about the 21 Jump Street Episodes Be prepared to spend more than just the purchase price for the wii – there are lots of fun extras that you kinda need, extra wii-motes and nun-chucks, in addition to the games (tip: always read the reviews on the games, I’ve bought a doozey or two, & if i had read the reviews here on amazon, I would have saved my $$ for a better game). But, if you have kids or you are even just a couple who goes out a lot, the wii (& now, netflix) may save you some money in the end, and you’ll spend more time together, doing fun stuff. And after all, isn’t that what life’s all about?

Thanks to wii and netflix, we eat at home more (saves money, gas, & calories); watch fewer commercials (they’re bad for the psyche AND the wallet!); are more active with our entertainment; spend more time with family & friends; spend less time aimlessly channel-surfing; enjoy more varieties of entertainment, like documentaries, old TV shows, and musician stuff; are more conservative with spending $7-15 per person to see a movie in the theatres (that we hopefully will enjoy!); and actually look forward to spending time at ho
Buy Wisely Eat Well

I don’t usually review things I haven’t bought directly from Amazon, but I have to rave about this. Of all the toys, trees and treats I’ve bought for my cat, this is by far the best purchase I’ve made.

The design of the Furminator is amazing. It looks like they just took the teeth out of a hair trimmer and attached it to a heavy handle, but somehow it pulls out all the dead, dry undercoat hairs with ease. I use it once a week and it always pulls out big tufts of fur, especially from the areas she can’t groom (from the back of her neck down to the base of her tail). The tool itself does most of the work; because of the heavy handle, I just let it sit on her fur and pull back in short strokes. I keep going back to the same areas because it keeps pulling stuff out. The whole process takes maybe 10 minutes though, which I follow up with a wet towel wipe followed by a dry towel wipe. After this, her fur is super-soft and looks great (the tool also helps distribute oils over her fur). She’s even come to love the process, laying down and purring in content while she gets “scritched” all over.

I took her to the vet a few months ago and they were raving about how soft she was. This, from people who see dozens of cats a week!

I have to point out that it has NOT cut out her hairballs completely. She still coughs up those nasty messes around once or twice a week, and loose hairs still come out of her fur and stick to the beds, perches, etc. I don’t think anything would help with that.

I bought this iPod Touch for my two daughters however, I found myself using it most of the time. It just a great entertainment device with so many entertainment options. Applications, Games, Internet, Audio and Video.
My two little daughters really enjoying it. Of course as any other products it has shortages which I believe mentioned in others’ reviews.
Eat Well Live Well

As a recently returned to college student I have a ton of articles to read and printing was becoming a tad on the expensive side and reading on my computer screen was slowly and painfully ruining my eyes so I decided to buy a e-book reader. Before I bought it I did some research on e-book readers available and I decided the kindle 2 was for me. I was looking for something to put my articles on so that I could read them whenever i got a few mins to myself but I also wanted to be able to have some books on it so I wouldn’t become a complete bore!!

Firstly I have to say the delivery was super fast. Living in Ireland I was expecting a min. wait of 2 weeks but my kindle arrived in perfect condition at my door in a number of days.

Secondly the kindle is so easy to use. And anything you can’t figure out is just a click away in the manual which comes installed on the kindle. It is very easy to buy a book from the kindle store and I had great fun exploring all the features. I think the best was lying out in my garden sunbathing (on a rare sunny day) and having the kindle read my book to me!! Also being able to increase the size of the font, change the number of words on a line and the screen rotation (horizontal or vertical) was fabulous. And if you do get a kindle you must take it out on a sunny day and marvel at being able to read the screen with little to no glare!!!Also the ink technology is amazing it is just like reading a book only without the danger of paper cuts!!!And being able to make little notes and highlight stuff in books is brilliant as well.

But and there is a but. I bought this kindle to combine work and pleasure and the pleasure side is fabulous but I think there is more they could do for the work side. As I said I bought this kindle to read pdf articles. Transferring the pdf files from my computer to the kindle is uncomplicated and very easy. And accessing the articles is the same as for books. But I have a few suggestions that could make the kindle I

I love this device. As a person with a house full of books and crippled hands this is a huge help for me. I have just finished my 3rd book and all is good. I have 30 lined up for the summer.
