I have been a photographer for over 40 years, beginning in high school sports for the newspaper. I used a 50mm f2.0 Summicron lens, for years considered the sharpest lens available for 35mm photography. I switched to digital several years ago, with the Leica digilux. Then I got smarter and purchased a Nikon D80, with the 17-55mm as my basic lens. This is a masterpiece for me: sharper, less distortion, and better color than any of my old leitz lenses, including the 35f2 aspherical, 24f2.8, 50f2, 90f2.8, and the 135f4. My 11X14 prints show amazing detail. I estimate the resolution at better than 80 lines per mm (the point at which the human eye can no longer “see”additional detail).
Nikon 17 55mm f

I have owned and used this lens professionally for over a year now and after a minor focus issue that was resolved very quickly by Sigma’s excellent service department I have to say this is the sharpest 24-70 lens I have used. I also have experience with the canon 24-70L lens which retails for just over a grand and the Sigma is sharper throughout the whole range(even at 2.8). The only negative thing I have to say about this lens is the noisy autofocus (Canon’s USM is much quieter). But it is still reasonably fast to AF. This is definately the best lens for the money in this zoom range and is without a doubt the best optically. Canon’s build quality and weather sealing are definately superior to the Sigma so if that is an issue, you may want to go with the Canon.

I bought this 3rd generation ipod touch for my daughter’s 12th birthday. She loves it! She uses it every day. She easily transferred all her music from her old ipod over to it. She has down-loaded a lot of apps, many of them free. She loves being able to access the internet on it through wi-fi. The only negatives are that she occassionally looses the wi-fi connection in her bedroom, and the sound quality is not that great when it’s turned up without headphones. Overall she really enjoys having it and she’s glad she upgraded to a newer version from what she had before. I like it because she uses our family computer less since she can access the internet with it, and I’m very impressed it’s compatable with the ipod docking station we bought 2 years ago.

This is the best pedometer I’ve ever owned. Most I have abandoned because they’re too complicated to program. This one is a breeze to set up and it’s extremely accurate when tested against a known distance as on a track. Best of all, it really does work just as well when carried in a pants pocket as it does when clipped on a belt. I also own an Omron blood pressure monitor which I love. This company makes quality products.

Finally, I couldn’t imagine how 57 people out of the thousands who have reviewed the product could possibly give it only one star, so I reviewed their comments. Perhaps 5 or 6 actually got a defective pedometer — not a bad percentage of any product. As far as the rest of them go, well…I’ll try to be nice and just say it takes all kinds of people to make up our world. It really helps to read the simple, brief instructions before using the device.
Optimus F 1670S 16

I purchased the F5 a year ago and this is what I think. I take better pictures with the F5, let me clarify, at an air show, while whale watching and of course all the people shots I would have missed if it were not for the speed of the auto focus and the wonderful metering system. If it sounds like I use the camera as point and shoot camera sometimes I do exactly that. I think it is one of the attributes of this camera the ability to get the shot, quickly and accurately.

Weigh:	The F5 is a heavy camera but I like the weight and feel of the camera. I think because of the weight the camera balances nicely in your hands and the F5 is a dream to hold. I am able to hand held this camera at a lower shutter speed than I could with other cameras. The craftsmanship is superb and I enjoy how well the F5 is made.

Familiar Controls: I like the ability to go from one Nikon to another and most of the controls seemed familiar.

Weather Sealing: I have taken the F5 while on a sailboat in Kauai in 15 foot swells hanging on to the boat with one hand and just pointing the camera with the other (program mode) and guess what I got some good shots. I don’t hesitate using this camera in adverse weather conditions and just wipe and clean it.

The F5 was introduced in 1996 and was a top of the line 35mm camera and in 2004 it still is the top of the line. I know other manufactures make great cameras but eight years later this camera is still at the top of the list. This camera will be that last film camera that I own. It is not because I’m going digital, because I’m not at the moment. It is because this is simply the best film camera you can purchase from Nikon and it just might be the best film camera you can own.
Nikon F 5 SLR

I am somewhere between a neophyte and an amateur photographer. I bought a Sony A200K as my first DSLR and love it but soon discovered the limitations of the lenses it came with. I consulted pros to see what my next lenses was going to be and this 75-300mm was it. Since I don’t have a lot of bucks right now, I took a chance on a used one and this thing was in mint condition. But I was soon doing some incredible jaw-dropping shots from the time I got it attached to my camera, Close ups of flowers, Animals, and yes even bugs jumped right out with amazing clarity and color… Amazon, the seller and this lenses made me a professional photographer most of the time. I couldn’t be happier.
Sony 75 300mm f

Pros:

Super fast auto focus
Speed, F/2 at 200mm!!
Unbelievable perfect 10 Images!!
This lens WILL get you attention
Otherworldly image stabilization!
Great build quality weather sealed
Fantastic perfect buttery smooth Bokeh
What a lens case! More like a high quality hard cover suitcase
The absolute best in-door concert and event lens ever created!

Cons:

Heavy and huge
This lens WILL get you attention
This is a lens cap; you gotta be kidding me! It won’t fit with hood in ready to shoot position only in stored position!
Ok, what lens bag can I purchase to have this lens and my camera and the hood extended in a ready to shoot position?

Assembly:

I’ve always lusted after this lens and finally have my hands on one but there are a few things you don’t think about. Probably like when you first win the Lotto and purchase your first Lamborghini there will be some details not in your dreams. The case was smaller then I expected but is very nice having very high quality aluminum build with lock and carrying handle (see photo I uploaded). The case even includes a set of two keys; not that locking it would do any good if the thief knew what was inside. The first thing you notice upon opening is the strange lens cap and hood assembly. The lens system takes some assembly to get ready to shoot each time since you have to remove this strange weird leather with a draw string lens cap, unscrew the hood attaching screw and reverse. If you buy and like to shoot at a moments notice you will want to purchase a large quality photo bag.

Mounting and setup:

Mounting the lens is almost a mount the camera to the lens affair but not quite as you can still do it either way. It feels a little fat and a little bit heavy if you are coming from say a Canon 70-200 F/2.8 L or 100-400 L lens. If you are used to those two lenses you will have a similar feel at first except that the hood is pretty large on the end making the lens seem bigger then it is and it’s a little bit front heavy in co
Canon EF 200mm f
