I am no expert in electronics but the HDMI cable seems to be working perfectly. I had purchased a new 46″ HD LED TV and the installation guy was AMAZED at the price of the cable. The TV picture looks great to me and I asume the HDMI cable is the reason.

Ok…I’m not much into writing reviews, but I feel compelled to chime in on this product. I have been an on-again, off-again runner for several years and have as my goal to run in 1 or 2 half-marathons each year. Getting under a 2 hour 1/2 marathon is always my goal. Up until the time of getting/using the Garmin 305 I have been using a standard running watch, the Timex Ironman. The Ironman has been a great watch in its own regard, but I really wanted to focus on heart-rate zone training to improve my overall conditioning and stamina in the later parts of my long training runs and in the events themselves. Literally within a couple of weeks of using the Garmin 305, I saw my overall level of conditioning improve approximately 10%, which as you know is pretty huge. With max VO interval work, I can now run a full minute faster per mile (from 10:00/mi down to 9:00/mi) quite comfortably and keep my heart rate high zone 3 and low zone 4 now. It actually feels “comfortable” to me in this range. I did a 14 mile training run yesterday and kept my BPM in this range through the 12 mile mark. The last 2 miles were zone 4 to low zone 5, but were do-able and I always felt “informed” about my heart health.

Other than being able to track real-time metrics during a run, probably the absolute coolest feature of this watch is through its software. It comes with Garmin Training Center (PC and Mac) and it allows you to usb-sync each of your runs (or biking or swimming) and view any of a dozen metrics throughout the run. You may also upload your runs to GarminConnect and view your run on satellite and google maps. Waaaayyyy cool!

Aside from the attendant bells and whistles, this GPS watch has performed rock solid in various weather conditions and has helped me bunches to get to the next level in my running regimen. I can’t say enough about this product. At the price point (approx. 1/2 the $’s of the 310) I would highly recommend this watch to everyone who is looking to i

Wanna Friend England A from

I have twin toddlers, two large dogs, two cats, and a messy husband. We vacuum our tiled/wood laminate living spaces and area rugs about 4 times a week, sweeping the hard floors between vacuumings. So, yeah, I’m a pretty heavy user of vacuum cleaners – I demand a lot from my appliances! This model works well – picks up a lot from the rugs, does a good job of sucking up dust bunnies and cheerios from the hard floor without using the beater brush, and gets good suction across the whole cleaning head. Like some other reviewers, I didn’t expect so much power from a vacuum for less than $100. My one complaint is that the cleaning head is deep enough (front to back) and the unit is heavy enough that it’s not at all easy to use on stairs. In the end, I got what I paid for, though, because it only worked for about 8 months before it just … died. We tinkered with, inspected, cleaned, and kicked the thing to no avail. It just won’t turn on anymore! If I can get my husband to accept the fact that neither of us can fix this vacuum, I’ll probably buy a second one and hope it holds out a bit longer this time.

It Came From the Final

This was a really great movie. Going into it I thought it might be aimed at a younger audience, but that wasn’t the case at all, as there was some profanity and adult subject matter. At one part in the movie the 13 year old brain damaged son gets a hard on watching Pepper (Yasmine Bleeth) while having his feet massaged by his doting mother, much to everyone’s embarrassment. The entire cast was excellent, Kevin Zegers in particular. Zegers was the movies principle character, and he played the part out beautifully. It reminded me of a similiar role that Leonardo DiCaprio played in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, in that he was so convincing in the role you actually believed he was brain damaged just as DiCaprio pulled off his role as a retarded boy. There were a few bonuses such as commentary and such, and the movie really is a must see (and own in my opinion.)

Take from It Below Came

Sands has a gift for juxtaposing images, combining familiar realities in a way that creates new, unfamiliar realities. Examples include cockroaches on wheels, giraffes doing ballet, nuclear lunchboxes and toupee-wearing orangutans on surfboards. One is reminded of Rene Magritte or Russell Edson.

But what really impressed me about this book was its clarity and craft. His diction is always simple and conversational. His rhythms steady and controlled. His plotting is profluent and convincing. His characters active and rounded. Everything is vivid, everything delightfully boisterous, like a deep, fascinating, unsettling dream that stays in your mind for days.

Really works great on the dog. And she loves to get combed. Amazing how much fur comes out. Cat is not so crazy about it. I read the bad reviews and think the people that are saying it rips the hair out are using it wrong. There is a certain angle that works best. Could be different for every animal.
