Purchased this in conjunction with a new Canon digital point and shoot. I know nothing about memory cards unless they are slow, undependable, or lose my photos.

Guess what? This is a lightening quick, dependable memory card that WORKS!

I highly recommend it with digital camera usage.

Loved the new Amazon packaging, it really is frustration-free packaging.
High Performance External Remote

Garmin watch is great for runners. If you use the software and online features, its definitely worth the money. The only setback is that the satellite can take 15-20 seconds to start sending signals to watch in some situations. It happens randomly and I can’t really explain it. I’ve gotten signal immediately while sitting in my house but had to wait up to a minute standing outside on a clear, sunny day.

Using this on a Newfie and a Papillion with equally great results. (tried it on the cat, too!) Clearly the Newfie is more time consuming — but he loves being brushed so that’s not a problem. Results were each dog finished up looking professionally groomed for little more than the investment of my time!!

I’ve had this vacuum for a little over a month and have mixed feelings.

When it worked, it was quite loud, but sucked up everything I put in its path (including large paint chips when moving out of an apartment). It had no problem picking up hair from a carpet (handy with two cats) and didn’t require me to stop after completing a room and pull hair out of the belt like my preceding vacuum. No problem with the cord length but had a LARGE problem with the cord attachments. Namely, whenever you use one of the hose attachments, the main vac never turns off, so it’s sucking through the hose and through the bottom simultaneously (even when the handle is locked upright), resulting, sometimes, in dust shooting out of the hole where the hose connects.

The reason it gets two stars is my fiance went to vacuum last night with the hose attachment, went to move the vacuum so she could reach a spot, and accidentally went over the cord with the bottom of the vacuum for half of a second. In that half second, the cord was completely shredded and severed, caused an electrical fire, and burnt our carpet.

A call to Hoover informed us that this is not considered a manufacturer’s defect (even though having the bottom constantly running seems like a pretty big design flaw, idle or not), so we will have to pay to have it repaired ($25-40, depending on the vacuum). Needless to say, we’re not pleased.

UPDATE: Turns out the $25-40 is actually $80-90 with parts and labor. That’s more than it cost to purchase the vacuum in the first place. Hoover just lost a customer.
4 High Quality Thick

As a teen in the 60’s I remember “How it was” with the racial issues. Although I lived in Pa, it was a fact that even here, blacks were second class citizens and injustice was common place. I think this novel was pretty much accuate in the portrail of life during that time. i really enjoyed the book. My only disapointment was the abrupt ending. Like other reviewers, I would have liked to have more of the loose ends tied up. It left me wanting more. This is a relly good read for anyone who wants to step back in time to the way it was during that era. Loved each of the charecters!

I bought the Ipod touch for my sons 14th birthday present. I set it up and loaded it with songs, games and videos. It does just what he needs it to do. It has decent sound and video quality. For almost $200 dollars, I expected more such as camera/video and maybe access to wifi in areas other than hotspots. On the other hand, it was a gift for my son and he’s extremely delighted.
