I don’t know what the previous version of this vacuum cleaner was like, but the one I received works as it should. Actually, it has better suction than the one I replaced which was the expensive gear driven version of the same cleaner.
I do not vacuum hard floors (I broom and mop them) and have never tried to use a vacuum cleaner on them, so no loss there.
If I had very thick carpet, I would have to go for a more expensive vacuum, as thick carpet will usually put to much stress on a single belt.
Even if this is less than it used to be, it is still a great value at under $80.00.
The cord could be longer, and routing the cord on the hangers is a bit clumsy but
gets done.
A word to the wise: To extend the life of the roller as long as possible, and to not have the belt slip and burn, keep the setting at a point that does not pull the vacuum forward to much, as this is nothing more than the roller brushes hitting the carpet. (For regular height carpet try setting it at the high or close to high setting)

I bought this as a replacement for my previous Omron HJ-112, which I had been using for about 2 years (I accidentally ran it through the washing machine – it is not waterproof, in case you were wondering). I ADORE this pedometer – it can go in my pocket, so it does not have to clip to (and fall off) my waistband, and so people don’t ask you about it constantly. The 7 days of memory is great for tracking, and it does not count false steps when I am in a vehicle. I find the distance (you have to enter your stride length, but that is easy) and calorie counts are accurate. I have never had any problems, and if this one breaks I will buy another.

My boyfriend has a great scale. When you get on, it says what you weigh – there is no variance. This scale sometimes has variance and I do not like that. It looks nice though and it pretty accurate. Good price and fast shipping with Prime.

The features on the Garmin nuvi 1350T with a 4.3 screen work well and are a great improvement over previous models. The “ECO” feature is so important in traveling today, especially with gas prices as there are……. The one con was the sensitivity of the screen. It did not respond as fast as my previous Garmin GPS. but taking the price, updated features, and the screen size into account-I would recommend this GPS.

So I bought this book because I’ve seen it in stores/online/etc. I didn’t like it too much, I like Artemis and Butler but that’s about it. I bought the second to see if it was better than the first, it was. I bought the third to see if it was better than the second, it was. I bought the forth to see if it was better than the third, it was. And I bought the fifth because I liked the rest, and the fifth was awesome.

What I’m trying to get at is, don’t be turned off by the first, because THEY DO get better.

Yep, for $75 it cleans my whole place and does a darn good job of it too. Hardwood floors and thick carpeting … no problem. Purchased based on other reviewers. Everybody else was absolutely right. This is one heck of a deal on a very good vacuum. I did have a bit of a hard time installing two of the screws (it comes partly disassembled and it will take 15 minutes or so to initially assemble), which appear to be mis-sized. I’m sure I’m just missing something and will take a closer look when I get a chance. For now it’s working great though.

I was optimistic, and I wasn’t let down! My only complaint was that the story was too short, I couldn’t wait to see what Artemis would be up to next. I would not compare this to Harry Potter. This story stands on its own, with plenty of installments to keep you reading and waiting on the next adventure. Always full of surpises, written very well.

After purchasing and exchanging three defective Garmin Nuvi 255 units, I gave up. This product is just not worth the hassle. I spent numerous hours on the phone and online with Garmin support to try and isolate why these plug and play units would not take a charge. The last unit charged once, my husband took it on a trip to the east coast. It worked for thirty minutes providing him great assistance in finding his way from the airport to the hotel. After that the unit would not charge again – dead as a doornail. Garmin support told me that they hadn’t heard of such a problem, unfortunately I can’t believe that to be true. How could I have been so unlucky as to be the one person with three units that wouldn’t charge? Disappointed is an understatement!
