I got it on a whim just to see how far I walked during the day just at home. It has forced me to do a little more and more everyday as far as aerobic exercise.

I LOVE IT. I had a bagless vac that was horrible. I always had luck with bagged hoover’s in the past so decided to give this one a try. I can honestly say I have never had a vacuum with this much suction. It picked up everything. I have mostly hardwood floors and have had problems in the past with the dust blowing around. Not with this one. I’m actually ordering another one to put in storage. Awesome value for the price.

I can’t tell you how delighted she is with it. The “read to” feature is a huge plus and she uses it all the time when working around the house. Great with or without headphones. I have heard of it for as long as I can remember. I have seen many referencs made to it. And I know there was a relationship with this book tied to Mark David Chapman, the assasin of John Lennon.

What I don’t understand is what the big deal is about it. It is well written and very discriptive but ultimately seems pointless. It follows a few days in the life of a student expelled from his school and doesn’t really go anywhere or make any point. I am not a big reader of fiction so maybe I’m missing something here.

All I can say is if you have been one, like myself who has always been curious about “The Catcher and the Rye”, don’t waste your time.

– sounds like a jet engine, especially on wood floors
– cheap materials. The hose was kinked from the first day and cannot be unkinked
– the blower actually repels dust from the unit. I have to use an attachment to do my wood floors.
– the cord is very short
– the cord is attached in the worst possible place, right at the floor. I am either stepping on it constantly as I try to vacuum or I am bending over constantly to pick it up to get it out of the way.
– does not perform well on carpets unless I really dig it in
– no headlight

Buyer beware. It appears positive reviews were for an older version.

Finally, I have purchased a Kindle and I LOVE it! I already have 30 books on the Kindle and it ended up taking up less space than one paper book. It is fantastic and there is a great selection of eBooks to buy. I highly recommend the Kindle to anyone who travels frequently or moves a lot.
