So far so good! I’ve had my pedometer for a month now and it works like a charm. I heard some criticism about the clips breaking, but I use mine all the time and have never had a problem. It comes with a clip on the pedometer and one on the cord so you can use either or both.

I think the Garmin Forerunner 305 has the potential to really help out a runner but i don’t thing the heart rate monitor is very accurate. I’ve done a manual count after a heavy workout and compared it to the garmin and the garmin is way off by as much as 20 to 30 beats. That bothers me that I’m not get accurate data. Sometimes the heart rate monitor won’t even pick up my hear beat, so I spend several minutes during a heavy work out adjusting the band to see if that helps. I wish it would also tell my how many calories I am burning even if I’m not outside working out. It’s functional but I wish is was a better device.

The people at Sesame Street seem to keep improving the quality of their Elmo shows. The songs and routines are imaginitive, and certainly keep the attention of my two-year-old. He’s addicted to Elmo, so that’s the best indicator of success.

This edition focuses on things of wonder all around us, e.g., sky, moon, etc.

The Catcher in the Rye is now a classic. I don’t have much to say about the book with all these reviews going on here. However, I will comment about the edition. First of all, it isn’t a “first edition, first printing,” obviously, BUT, it has the format of the edition back then when it was first published in the 50’s. This is a great detail since you can appreciate the model they used before for a cheaper price if you’d want to buy an original copy. Great edition, wondeful book!!!

I am really happy we purchased this product. We bought it right before we went on a cross-country road trip, and we would not have made it without our TomTom! It was great at finding gas, food, entertainment, parking, as well as all of our hotels. It made a couple mistakes, usually when the signal was poor, but it always corrected itself quickly and we were able to find our way. The screen size is larger than most this price, and it makes a big difference, it is much easier to see where were are in relation to other things and using the touchscreen is more convenient. By plugging it into a laptop with an internet connection, I was able to receive map corrections made by other users, so it continues to improve itself. I will never go on another trip without it!

I’m a big time reader and was hesitant to move to an electronic reader. After many months of research, I determined Kindle was the best product on the market. Two days after ordering the Kindle, I had it in my hands. It is one of the best purchases I have made in many years. It truly is easy to use!! I was worried I would miss the ‘look and feel’ of my books. However, the Kindle is just as easy to read as regular books. One of the neatest features is being able to look up words with the built-in dictionary. Add my daily delivery of my favorite newspaper and I’m in love. Highly recommend this product.

Honestly the best novel I’ve read in a long time. I was lucky enough to get a free copy. What a gem! If you haven’t read it yet, give it a try. You won’t be dissappointed. I really hope Stockett has more stories up her sleeve. We’ll see! *waits anxiously*

Our Eureka Altima was falling and cracking apart after 3 years of usage. I read a very favorable review from Consumer Reports and saw this on Amazon. I’m very pleased with its performance and features. I used to like the visual aspect of seeing the bin fill up on non-baggged vacs; but after using this unit for a few weeks now, that’s not an issue. I do like the red indicator on the front of the unit to give me an idea when the bag needs to be replaced. The headlight on the unit is very bright compared to other vacs we’ve used. It helps in the darker corners and other areas such as beneath coffee tables etc. It seems a touch quiter than our old Eureka. I feel we’ll continue to use Hoover products from here on out.

Come ON, people, this book was rediculous. The author’s attemps at African American dialect and slang of the time was off from the first page, onward. and her overuse of stereotypes was pathetic. I am a white female, have lived in the South my whole life and this book left me embarrased and offended for any African Americans unfortunate enough to pick up this piece of work. I can see that the author had good intentions, but otherwise, this was terribly written. Did you happen to take a look at her picture on the back inside cover? She is a very typical cutesy, privleged, white female…and she is unsuccessfully trying to write in the voice of an elder black poor woman. Since Stockett has used stereotypes so abundantly, I suppose it would be safe to say that her readers can do the same. Assuming that she, the cutesy white Southern woman is no doubt familiar with “Help”, has probably had it her entire life, but obviously hasn’t concerned herself with said “Help” past them getting her home and dirty laundry cleaned in a timely fashion. Had she paid close enough attention to them, she might have been better able to write in their voices.

Note to the “Author”:
Dear Ms. Stockett, please stick to the White privleged life that you know, and realize that just because you have had Help your entire life does not entitle you to write as one. I am disgusted. You ARE the white woman who gives the rest of the White, higher income, female community the snooty, uppity and all around bad reputaion that we have. The only thing you have accomplished by this awful thing that you call a “novel” (that you no doubt wrote in between soccer caravans and in bed late at night on a legal pad) is telling everyone that stereotypes are OK. So please save some trees, the world and everyone in it from a second novel. Thank you for your time and attention. ~Reader

I think the twilight saga has an incredible storyline to it, and has many parts to it that are unique. A lot of people criticize parts of the books (e.g. some of the features), but I think that the fact is that they don’t like some of the small change Stephenie Meyer has made to vampires, so they critize it because it isn’t the same.
