I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYBODY TO BUY A WII FROM AMAZON.COM. I BOUGHT A WII FROM AMAZON AND WHEN I TRIED TO PUT IT ON IT WAS NOT WORKING I HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 15 MINS. FOR IT TO GO ON AND THEN WHEN IT FINALY CAME ON THE REMOTE WAS NOT WORKING,I TRIED EVERY THING AND STILL IT’S NOT WORKING,I HAD TO LOCK IT OF AND PUT IT BACK ON AND IT WORKED FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS.I HOPE THEY WILL GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY.

First, it arrived early, in good shape.

I found this game console very interesting, and a lot of fun. It came with the “Wii Sports” game. I highly recommend to make sure this game comes with it if you purchase a game console. The sports game by itself sell’s for around $50.00, So getting it makes this package a fare deal.

It gets used everyday, keeps a record of what you’ve done and estimates your age “according” to your performance at a random collection of activity’s that it picks out for you to do. Get a few people together and it can really be a lot of fun. Some of my friends have bought one since they played ours.

It has everything built in to connect to your wireless internet. It found it and connected without any problems, very easy, and nothing extra to buy. Has it’s own weather and news channels (and of course shopping channel). Now we send e-mail and pictures to our friends and family using the Wii. And it show’s up on their Wii.
One thing, you can only play certain games on the internet against others, and there aren’t that many of them yet.. That’s about the only little negative thing I can think of… and I’m sure there will be more “internet play” games coming out.
I recommend this game, for everyone, children and adults. It’s an active game, not just pushing buttons.

I bought the Omron HJ–112 Digital Pocket Pedometer because a friend had one. I love mine. It was easy to set up and works either clipped to my belt or in my pocket. To set it up it helps to have someone help measure out your distance and number of steps. This caculates your individual stride. The instructions tell you how to do it. I wear it all the time and I have had no problems with it. The only thing to remember if using a riding mower or tractor the bouncing around may give you a false reading. I would buy it again and I have recommended it other people.

It is really unfortunate to see the first book in Free-Space Optics containing so many technical mistakes. This was no surprise since it’s not written by experts in this field. I was wise to check the book before buying it. I guess, the book needed the few pages publicity on Amazon’s website to mislead readers.

Easy to set up. Network connection was easy.
The Remotes and Nunchucks are a bit spendy when you have to buy three more of each. The Wii usually only comes with one set. Altho, you can hold off on the Nunchucks as there aren’t very many multipayer games where you can use three or more people that need the Nunchucks. Usually just two people need it. And then you’ll have to buy the Game Pad to play the older games if you are used to using it. But then some of the Wii’s are now coming with the rubber “protectors” already on the Remotes so that’s great.

A blast when playing with more then one person on some of the games. We haven’t really bought many games for it as the grand kids are just getting to the point of being able to play now. The attention span just isn’t there yet. The games we do have are great to play.

We’ve had the vacuum for a few weeks now and have not had any problems with it at all. It does a very nice job on plush carpeting as well as flat carpets but not quite as good on hardwood floors. It has a handle just above the bag compartment that makes it easy to carry up and down stairs and it is fairly light compared to other full size uprights. As mentioned by others, the cord is about 6 feet too short. The mechanism to adjust the vacuum height is klunky, feels like it may be something easy to break, and is somewhat difficult to use. The suction for the hose attachment is almost too hard and there is no way to dial it down. Overall, though, I like this vacuum and would recommend it to friends.

I regret ever buying the iPod Touch, it is a waste of $200 dollars to say the least. First of all, on a good note I’m impressed with the appearance and smooth running user interface, but that’s about it. The touch is just an over priced iPod with a big touch screen and an app store which is great if you want to pay for apps that you probably will never use. The quality of the head phones is absolutely worthless and on top of that they recently began shocking me while I listen to music on my touch, so I forked out some more money to get new ones which sound far better without the repetitive shock.
There is no way to put any files other then music on to the iPod touch, so if you’re looking forward to using it as a data storage, it wont work. It only works with iTunes, which runs terrible on windows vista and overprices the media they sell. There is no radio and you pretty much have to have a computer to plug into if you ever want to add songs to your play-lists. Because there is no feature to add or remove songs from the play-lists on your iPod touch, you have to make them in iTunes on your computer.. There is one on-the-go play list which you can add or remove songs from, but that’s it.
My iPod touch is Wifi compatible but whenever, if I ever have service it is constantly disconnecting making it a real big hassle to browse the web with, and sense I upgraded my cell phone to a Palm Pre however, my iPod touch has been collecting dust. I now enjoy far better sound quality and a more useful smart phone, with 3G so I can listen not only to my music collection, but I can text, talk and browse the web whenever, where ever without having to switch from phone to iPod or missing calls all together because I cant hear my phone over my music playing.
Save your money and buy an iPod Nano for music and video or get a smart phone for multimedia. As for games, a Nintendo DS would be a far better buy!

Instructions loop around but don’t resolve the problem with connecting to the internet. Can waste way too much time on this. Don’t even want to try doing this all again with tech support. Much more fruitful to bag it and do more constructive things.

I read this during banned book week. I had not read it before, but it’s a classic. And hey, I wanted to see what could be so bad in it to ban it.

Hoo boy! Did I ever figure out. This book was obviously banned for being the single most boring book ever written. Or perhaps the incidence of boredom induced coma was so high, they felt the need to ban it. I don’t know. But I never did see anything horrible or even questionable in this book – nevermind interesting.

I’m sure people will comment about what a great piece of work this is. To them, I say “meh”
