The Kindle 2 does everything it is advertised to do and a little more. In most cases it does it well and I have no complaints at all. If It were to be redesigned or improved I think the MP3 player should be made so you can select songs you want to hear, rather then just streamline them out in the order they are recorded. Overall I am satisfied (quite happily so-in fact). I recommend it. They are right about the machine sort of disappearing in your hand while reading. So often I have caught myself trying to physically flip to the next page just like when reading a paper book, rather than pushing the page turn button. When the price reaches down to about $150 to $175 it will be where it should be and at such time will,be a great buy. Right now it is still a little spendy. But lots of free books are available and I can even go to my own web site URL from it and I have saved the complete text of several of my own books on my kindle.
