The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is always in need of applicants for the following vacancies:

  • Regional coordinator of the project to strengthen the inclusion of local self-government. Requirements for candidates: Higher education diploma (bachelor’s degree) with at least 2 years of experience, master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience; fluent English and Russian. Duration of contract: 12 months.
  • Administrative and financial assistant. Requirements for candidates: Diploma of higher education (bachelor’s degree), work experience of at least 5 years, fluent English. Duration of the contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension based on the evaluation of work.
  • Communications Specialist. Requirements for candidates: Diploma of higher education (bachelor’s degree), work experience of at least 3 years, fluent English. Duration of the contract: 6 months with the possibility of extension based on the evaluation of work.
  • Project Manager. Requirements for candidates: Diploma of higher education (bachelor’s degree), work experience of at least 5 years, fluent English. Duration of the contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension based on the evaluation of work.

UNDP vacancies: on-going projects

UNDP also holds a competition for the position of consultant in green urban planning. It is a part-time job for 32 working hours per week.

The purpose of the project is to widen the development of green urban development plans and implement pilot green urban development initiatives related to improving energy efficiency and sustainable transport in small and medium-sized cities.

The purpose of the work is to ensure the effective implementation of pilot initiatives on sustainable urban transport and pilot initiatives to improve energy efficiency.

Qualification requirements: higher education in urban planning, architecture, or other relevant fields. Having a degree is an advantage; at least 7 years of experience in urban planning, architecture, improving the transport network and energy efficiency of urban infrastructure; experience with government agencies and NGOs is an advantage; experience in developing legislation in the field of urban infrastructure and urban transport is an advantage; experience in implementing projects in the field of urban development or other related field is an advantage; experience in implementing international technical assistance projects is an advantage; So, to be able to get UNDP vacancies you will need the knowledge and practical application of international legislation in the field of urban development and energy efficiency; experience in writing analytical documents (reports) and to be a confident PC user.
